Cherokee Chapter

The Cherokee chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina is a local chapter of blind individuals, along with sighted family members, friends, and community partners in the Cherokee County area

 

What we do:

-Support and participate in initiatives and activities sponsored by and through the National Federation of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina.

-Advocate for the needs of blind people in our nation, state, and community.

-Provide info on services and activities available to people with varying vision conditions.

-Fellowship and interact with other individuals and organizations within our community.

Meeting & Dues Information

 

 



When: Third Saturday of each month

time: 10:00 a.m. 

Meal: A light snack or small meal is usually provided or contributed, as decided by chapter members during meetings; there is usually no charge, however, chapter members often bring items to contribute

Location: Hybrid, with conference through FreeConference.com system

In Person: Senior Centers of Cherokee County, Inc. 499 W. Rutledge Ave. Gaffney SC 

Chapter Dues: $5.00 per month as financially able but not prohibitive

checks may be made to NFB SC Cherokee or cash donations may be given to a chapter member
