The Florence chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina was organized in November 2020. To Advocate for the needs of the visually impaired in our nation, state, and community. Provide info on services and activities available to people with various vision conditions. Fellowship and interact with other individuals and organizations within our community. To assist with providing Informational resources in Assistive Technology, Orientation/Mobility, and Braille Literacy. Our Mission is To empower independence, dignity, respect, quality and equal opportunities for each individual whose life has been or will be impacted by loss of vision. To support each other mentally, physically and spiritually as we continue to walk this journey of life by faith and not by sight.
